Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone by J.K.Rowling

Harry Potter's parents are dead. Harry Potter lives with his ugly and fat aunt Petunia, uncle Vernon, and his cousin, Dudley. They're called the Dursleys. They tell Harry that his parents died in a car crash and that explains his lightning bolt scar on his forehead. When Harry gets a letter, his uncle snatches it away before Harry can even take a look at it. When Harry finds out that the letter tells him that he's been accepted to a school called Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry can't wait. When Harry arrives at Hogwarts, he finds the Mirror of Erised and two extremely odd Professors: Snape and Quirrel. And, he finds out how his parents really died.
