The Four Donkeys by Lloyd Alexander

Who likes picture books? I like to read picture books sometimes. Here's one that I really liked.

It's about a carpenter, baker, and a tailor. They all are getting ready to go to the town fair and sell there things. But before they go they make each other late. When they all are on there way to town all of thm end up riding in the fat bakers carriage. Then the donkey puklling about 200 cakes and pies, 3 people, in hot weather, bundles of shoes, got tired and lay down in the middle of the road! So the baker, tailor, and carpenter picked up the hot and tired donkey and put him in the carriage. What do you think they will do next?

Will they get to the fair in time?

What do fish have to do with anything and other stories by Avi

I didn't like this book that much. It was about people who have to live on the sidewalk, and ghosts. You might like the book but I didn't. There was another story in it that was about phone calls. There about 5 stories in the book. I didn't like any of them. I hope you read the book and leave a comment on how you liked it!

Fairy Tales by Benlie Doherty

Do you like fairy tales? I do. I read the popular fairy tales but in different versions. This fairy tales book has Cinderella and those popular fairy tales. But the author changes it a bit. The illustrator drew very pretty pictures too. I really loved this book of fairy tales more than any other I have read. I hope you enjoy reading the book!

LASSIE Come-home by Eric Knight

I really loved this book because it described a lot of things. It was sad though. I wish that Lassie had been my dog! The book had a lot of feeling to it. Sad, adventurous, and excitement.

This book is about a well-trained collie named Lassie. Lassie waits out side of the gate everyday for John to come home from school. And every day they walk home together. But John's dad sells Lassie oneday. John comes home and notices that lassie isn't waiting for him at the gate. He realizes that his father and mother have sold Lassie. One day Lassie is waiting for John and one day she isn't. The man who bought Lassie keeps having to come to John's home and taking Lassie away again or vice versa. Whenever John comes home from school he hopes Lassie is waiting for him. But Lassie isn't waiting for him anymore. Lassie had gotten out of her new master's kennel and run away. But it was harder to find John then she thought so. This is how Lassie's journey started. Lassie was taking a very big risk, she could be shot and killed. THings that bad. But Lassie loved her master so much that she was determined to find John. Lassie goes through lots of pain and has to fight and run a lot. Lassie got hurt a lot too! To find out what happened read the book. I loved it, I hope you will too!
