LASSIE Come-home by Eric Knight

I really loved this book because it described a lot of things. It was sad though. I wish that Lassie had been my dog! The book had a lot of feeling to it. Sad, adventurous, and excitement.

This book is about a well-trained collie named Lassie. Lassie waits out side of the gate everyday for John to come home from school. And every day they walk home together. But John's dad sells Lassie oneday. John comes home and notices that lassie isn't waiting for him at the gate. He realizes that his father and mother have sold Lassie. One day Lassie is waiting for John and one day she isn't. The man who bought Lassie keeps having to come to John's home and taking Lassie away again or vice versa. Whenever John comes home from school he hopes Lassie is waiting for him. But Lassie isn't waiting for him anymore. Lassie had gotten out of her new master's kennel and run away. But it was harder to find John then she thought so. This is how Lassie's journey started. Lassie was taking a very big risk, she could be shot and killed. THings that bad. But Lassie loved her master so much that she was determined to find John. Lassie goes through lots of pain and has to fight and run a lot. Lassie got hurt a lot too!
